We are proud to announce our first collaboration with The Row Show, a weekly rowing podcast hosted by Olympic men’s pair silver medallist Lawrence Brittain and his heavyweight brother Jake Green.
It is our aim to be the home for all Olympic sporting codes and we look forward to future collaborations, making this a site that truly belongs to the different sporting communities we serve.
Here is what you can expect from The Row Show:
Everyone watches the Olympics and it is easy to appreciate the level of skill of any athlete competing there, but it is hard to understand the journey each athlete has taken to get there by just watching their final performance.
On The Row Show, they take a look at the efforts made behind the scenes to provide some understanding of the years of work and dedication, the glory and the hardships an athlete endures to have a chance at standing on the greatest sporting stage in the world.
In this week’s show, the boys speak to Kiwi rowing sensation Zoe McBride, who is a double world champion. McBride gives insights into her highlights, her disappointment of missing out on the Rio Olympic Games and what makes her tick. All Blacks legend Richie McCaw also gets a mention.
